Welcome to the Delivering Change Initiative

The Riley County Perinatal Coalition is a non-profit organization aimed at improving access to prenatal care and reducing infant mortality rates. The need for pre and postnatal education and health care access was identified in both the 2010 and 2014 Riley County Community Health Needs Assessment. These findings led the RCPC to create a local grant program to address these concerns.

In 2014, RCPC teamed up with the Geary County Perinatal Coalition and its Delivering Change program. Since then, Delivering Change has successfully brought together a passionate group of individuals and organizations within Riley and Pottawatomie counties to help women find health care providers early in their pregnancies, offer educational opportunities, and promote infant/child health and safety.

Delivering Change: Healthy Moms-Healthy Babies uses a Three-Pronged Approach to improving birth outcomes by focusing on Improving the health of mothers, improving the health of infants and by encouraging breastfeeding.
